POOL LIFEGUARD COURSE Clonakilty Park Leisure Centre Spring 2021 COURSE PLAN This is a Level 1 National Pool Lifeguard Award Course run by Water Safety Ireland. The aim of the award is to enable a candidate to act as designated lifeguard, trained in Pool Rescue and Basic Life Support techniques. He/she will also have an awareness of First Aid and Pool Water Analysis. The Award is valid for 2 years and on expiry a revalidation course will need to be completed within a year.
